  1. How do I receive Niven & Joshua's newsletter?

    Sign up by entering your email address in the box towards the bottom of any page. We will keep sending newsletter's to you until you tell us to stop. We won't bombard you with junk though, so don't worry about that.

  2. If I am on the Niven & Joshua mailing list, will you pass my details on to other companies?

    Your details will not be passed on to any third parties. For more information please review our Privacy Policy.

  3. How do I contact Niven & Joshua?

    Use the contact page & send us an email. One of our customer services team will reply as soon as possible, normally within 24 hours or less.

Ordering

  1. How does the 5% off voucher work?

    Niven & Joshua offer a '5% off your next order voucher'. When a customer completes an order their custom will be rewarded with a discount voucher for 5% off their next order. The voucher will be a specific code, to be found included in the box of the customers original order. The code can be entered at checkout for any subsequent order.

    There is no minimum or maximum spend necessary & all vouchers are valid for one year from the date the customer placed their original order. Each code is valid for one order.

  2. Do Niven & Joshua's prices online include VAT?

    Yes they do, at the prevailing rate, which is currently 17.5%.

Shipping

  1. What are Niven & Joshua's shipping costs?

    All items are sent using Royal Mail using the following options:

    1st Class: £1.95 for 1 item, £2.95 for 2 items & more.

    Guaranteed next working day (if ordered before 1pm the previous day): £5.95

    Guaranteed Saturday delivery (if ordered before 1pm on Friday): £6.95

    Free delivery: All orders over £35.

  2. Is delivery free until Christmas on all purchases?

    Yes! Niven & Joshua are offering free delivery on all purchases no matter how large or small until Christmas Day 2008. Free delivery is applicable on orders where 1st Class Royal Mail postage is chosen by the customer. Special Next Day Delivery & Saturday Delivery still carry their normal charges.

  3. How long will it take for my goods to arrive?

    If you order before 1pm UK time, we will try to dispatch your goods to you the same day via Royal Mail. This is not always possible during busy periods. This means that majority of items will arrive within a couple of working days & quite often the next working day. Goods ordered from 4pm on a Friday through to Monday will not be dispatched until Monday unless Saturday delivery is chosen before 1pm on a Friday.

    If you order an item which isn't currently in stock, we will let you know this & inform you of an expected delivery date, placing your order on back order. If multiple items are ordered including an item(s) which isn't in stock  we will dispatch items which are in stock & dispatch out of stock items as soon as we receive them at no extra cost. We carry good quantities of all our items & frequent deliveries mean this is rarely a problem.

  4. Why do I sometimes get my goods delivered in more than one box?

    If you order several items, we will ensure that they are all safely packaged. This occasionally means that items will be sent separately in our secure boxes.

Returns

  1. If I order online, can I return my item(s)?

    Yes, as long as you return your item(s) to us within 28 days from the purchase date by post to the Niven & Joshua mail order returns department, we will happily give you an exchange or refund. Include a brief note explaining your reason for returning your item(s). Please make sure you send it via registered post, as we can't be responsible for anything that goes missing. The goods must be unused & complete with original proof of purchase.

  2. What if my item(s) arrives damaged?

    If items are damaged upon receipt you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery & we will decide on the best course of action to rectify any problems. Items which are used, not in their original packing and/or undamaged can't be accepted.
